TATA Power Solar’s VR deployment with AutoVRse is an example. In VR, AutoVRse recreated the aftermath of a chemical spill and guided the worker through procedures to identify the nature of the spill, follow the correct measures to contain it, and, in turn, prevent the spilled chemical from reaching nearby machinery.
4. Pharmaceuticals and life sciences
XR investment in the healthcare sector overall is projected reach $7 billion by 2026. The sector has seen huge investments due to the level of precision that operations within healthcare demand.
For instance, for pharma manufacturers, even a single contaminant can damage an entire batch of medications. Hence, they are increasingly adopting XR training to teach new workers practices that eliminate the chances of accidental contamination. XR enables the repeated practice required to drill such procedural knowledge down to an instinctual level.
5. FMCG and food manufacturing
FMCG and food manufacturing are industries with high turnover. Using XR for training helps you quickly onboard new hires and teach procedures such as machine operations. You don’t have to halt ongoing production for training.
